Let's get this New Year started right!

Sinfully Delicious

saint cupcakeThank heavens for Saint Cupcake!

There, we said it! And indeed, we really can't say enough about these awesome folks. We’ve been floating in frosting, pink cupcake schedules and pile of sprinkles here at Needmore these last few weeks, busy designing around the cutest darn edibles we’ve ever seen. For a company that's been as priveleged as we have (working with some of the best and brightest out there), this one really takes the (cup)cake.

The Saints have it all going on! They're affable, witty, and they certainly know how to bake. Moreover, the project was a breeze; we were able to communicate well (practically mind reading at times) and quickly create a site we all love. We're incredibly proud of the results!

At its heart, Saint Cupcake's website has always been about the writing. Their previous site was basically a blog, and we wanted to keep the emphasis on their writing with the new site as well. But, we couldn't stop there! We added new features, such as image galleries, online shopping for goodies, a clear and direct cupcake menu, and more. We added some style and we added some pretty. But most of all, we did our best to let their personality shine through.

And if you enjoy browsing their new website as much as we do, then we've done our job.

Bathing in Delight

Ruby RedThe folks at Ruby Red, London-based crafters of handmade organic skin and bath products, believe in enjoying life. They bike to work. They hand-produce their aromatic bath soaks and shea butter and then offer them up at markets such as the Cabbages and Frocks Market in Marylebone London. They were even kind enough to send a care package across the waters to our own little studio!

Bathing in soft scents of lavender and Palmarosa Essential Oils, one couldn't help but recall our own recent experiences strolling through cobbled London streets and finding a bustling afternoon market tucked under an overpass. Relaxed and rejuvenated, we set about creating a simple backdrop for Ruby Red's vibrant character and subtle product grace. The theme was to highlight the passion and fresh, organic ingredients that are a part of each of Ruby Red’s products. We are holding our breath to see what Martine and her crew come up with next, as there are promises of them making more delicious products while also challenging themselves to become carbon neutral. Now to find a way back to London...

In Other News

Somehow, we've managed to keep writing in our very own blog. Here's a couple topics you might enjoy.

We hope you had a great holiday season. We're all ready to embrace 2008, a year we think will beat 2007 hands-down. Go 2008!

All the best,
Team Needmore
