Let's Play Ball

By Kandace Brigleb

in Our Work

Designing a vibrant, dynamic identity for Portland’s own Cleveland Youth Baseball & Softball.

Cleveland Youth Baseball & Softball is a 501c-3 nonprofit kids baseball & softball program in Southeast Portland. When our local high school updated their look, we had the opportunity to revamp Cleveland Youth Baseball and Softball’s logo to complement the new look while also remaining distinctive.

Brand Colors

We designed a logo that not only stand out with vibrant colors of sunshine yellow, grass green, and Pacific NW green, but is also flexible enough to be useful on website, social media outlets, mailers, uniforms, and fan gear.

Inclusivity

For the first time in the organization’s history, the baseball and softball teams each have their own logo which allows for the teams to have representations of each sport’s unique ball color on their kits.

Community

It meant a great deal to work alongside so many wonderful local businesses to sponsor this organization.

Bonus: we had the chance to work with the young emerging artist Zoë Brigleb, who illustrated not only the ball, but also imagined their favorite My Hero Academia characters in the new kits. We think they hit a home run here.
