Website Design & Development
Modern, accessible websites designed to tell your story.
We've been making websites since 2004. More than twenty years of work, two co-owners, mostly for specialty coffee and DTC brands. Sometimes for nonprofits, trades, retailers, and other small businesses that care about the work. Every project starts the same way: we listen, then design what we find.
How We Design Websites
Brand-First
We start with discovery. Real conversations, honest research, a clear strategy. The designs that follow are modern and considered, built around your brand's personality and aesthetic.
Story & Personality
A website should look and sound like the brand behind it. We design how it looks and write what it says. Visiting your site should feel like walking through your space. Same atmosphere, same care, same voice.
Designed to Grow
We build sites your team will use. Modern architectures, clear documentation, hands-on training at handoff. You should be able to publish something new the week you want to, not the week a developer is available.
WooCommerce Websites
If your store has complexity, WooCommerce gives us room to customize. Custom logic, deep integrations, fulfillment that fits the way you ship.
The website smashed our expectations. Our goal was to stand out in a crowded marketplace, and Needmore helped us achieve that with flawless execution.
Shopify Websites
Shopify when you want a beautiful storefront and a simple, hosted environment. Subscriptions, polish, fast to launch.
Website Design
Custom story-driven sites for nonprofits, food and drink, trades, and designers. Sites that aren't ecommerce but still deserve craft.
Common Questions about our Web Designs
Can help with copy?
Yes. We can help to either establish a brand voice and hand this off to your team or help with the website copy itself.
How do you handle accessibility?
We build to WCAG 2.1 AA. Color contrast, keyboard navigation, alt text, focus states, semantic markup. It's part of how we work. We also offer monthly or quarterly accessibility scanning post-launch.
What does a web project look like?
A typical project runs eight to twenty weeks, depending on scope. Discovery and information architecture make up the beginning. We then head into Design. Development and content take the rest.
Should my e-commerce be on Shopify or WooCommerce?
Shopify is the right answer when you want a beautiful storefront, a clean subscription product, and a simple hosted environment. WooCommerce really sings when you need deeply custom catalogs, integrations beyond what the app store offers, or fulfillment logic that doesn't fit Shopify's model. We build both. We'll tell you which one fits.
