Lately we’ve been looking at upgrading our desks and chairs around the office. We work a lot, and it doesn’t make sense for us to be uncomfortable with our makeshift gear any longer. While we’ve decided on some chairs, we’re still looking around at desks.

The decision on a desk seems split between two different philosophies. One is to go with a more stylish option, the type of item you would by at a design furnishing store, such as the Eames desk. It’s a great size, it looks amazing, but functionally, it’s not that different from my current setup. It doesn’t have affordances like a keyboard tray – but I usually don’t use one anyway. Since we’re a design studio, we really like this option. It’s beautiful! I would love to see an office full of these guys. It would be a dream come true.
