You know, I think I\u2019ve got a motto. At least, a motto of the moment. Here it is:<\/p>\n
You make the best decision you can with the knowledge that you have at any given time.<\/strong><\/p>\n I don\u2019t know if it\u2019s been said exactly that way before, I may just be paraphrasing. It doesn\u2019t matter. It\u2019s a great motto.<\/p>\n So many times, I look back at work we\u2019ve done in the past, and I see so many ways it could have been better. I understand the technology better, or I\u2019m aware of services now that maybe weren\u2019t available back then.<\/p>\n It\u2019s okay. That\u2019s life. That\u2019s why our next project will usually be better than our last one. And that\u2019s why it doesn\u2019t get me too down when I have to tell old clients that it might be a good idea to invest the time and energy into making changes to their sites.<\/p>\n The Internet, and the Web, are constantly evolving and changing. Things that weren\u2019t really practical a few years ago are now commonplace. That\u2019s just the way it is.<\/p>\n Maybe that\u2019s part of the reason it\u2019s so much fun.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" You know, I think I\u2019ve got a motto.
