{"id":1635,"date":"2008-05-08T15:05:00","date_gmt":"2008-05-08T23:05:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/localhost\/arles-france"},"modified":"2017-01-20T14:45:04","modified_gmt":"2017-01-20T22:45:04","slug":"arles-france","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/needmoredesigns.com\/arles-france\/","title":{"rendered":"Arles, France"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Van Gogh arrived in <a title=\"Arles\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Arles\">Arles<\/a> in 1888 and, over the course of 15 months, painted 200 (<a title=\"some say 300\" href=\"http:\/\/tourisme.ville-arles.fr\/us\/a4\/a4.htm\">or perhaps 300<\/a>) canvases. This is when he began to use swirling brush strokes and intense yellows, greens, and blues.<\/p>\n<p>His work in Arles was inspired by the sights around him; see travel photos and paintings <a title=\"more\" href=\"http:\/\/galenfrysinger.com\/van_gogh.htm\">here<\/a>.
