They are excellent swimmers and spend most of their life in or around water. As the southern edge of the Arctic ice cap melts, in the summer, Polar bears follow the retreating sea ice. As a result of global warming, however, sea ice in the Polar bear\u2019s hunting grounds is melting earlier and forming later each year. If present trends continue, this \u201cking of the great white north\u201d could be extinct by the end of this century.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The adoption feels so real, with a <a href=\"https:\/\/secure.worldwildlife.org\/ogc\/ogc_certificate.cfm?ogcid=220970\">certificate<\/a> and a wealth of <a href=\"https:\/\/secure.worldwildlife.org\/ogc\/ogc_digipak_r2.cfm?ogcid=220970\">information about polar bears<\/a>, that we\u2019re still deciding on a name. Interested in adoption?
