We got the overwhelming message, again and again, that artists and small business owners are busy and squeezing in time here and there to promote themselves on their websites, Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and others. Most of this is happening without a strategic plan; they are largely looking at what everyone else is doing and attempting to do the same thing.
