The other day I wrote a bit about Mint, and how much we were enjoying it… in fact, it can be a bit of a distraction!
One of the Peppers you can add-on is Current Activity. Even though there’s technically no way to know who’s using your site at any given moment, because it’s really just a series of page requests, you can infer current activity by assuming that everyone who has requested a page from your site in, say, the last ten minutes, is visiting your site.
Current Activity takes it a step further by sorting through this information for you and presenting it in a way that lets you see patterns in this activity. For instance, in the graphic below, I can see that the first visitor listed (from IP address 220.127.116.11) started out by viewing Needmore Notes, then after a few minutes, moved on to look at our Projects.
