The problem: I search for keywords in a help system, in this case, Macromedia Flash 8. Obviously, the search terms appear quite often on this result page.
Suggestion: Divide the intensity of the highlight color by the frequency of the term in that document. If the term appears once or twice, make it really bright. If it’s 5% of the words on-screen, there’s probably no need to highlight it at all.
