With the resent addition of Greta Lynn Brigleb to the Needmore family, there couldn’t be a better time for the launch of Sea Urchin’s whimsical website. Sea Urchin is a cheerful boutique company founded by Sara and Dan Aredleano.
If you are familiar with Sea Urchin, then you already know that their charming designs will melt your heart. Working on Sea Urchin’s website redesign was a welcome chance to let our inner child reign and to celebrate cuteness on a whole new level. Some of the prints already decorate bedrooms nearby.
Sara is an extremely gifted artist, who inspired us to create a website that incorporates her unique style and playful attitude into the overall feel of the website. Even though the extremely powerful Magento e-commerce system is running behind the scenes, the attitude is carried through the checkout and beyond. No generic shopping experience here.
But we didn’t skimp on the e-commerce features, either. There is a powerful backend that lets Sea Urchin manage orders efficiently, a shopping cart that updates right on the page, and a one-page checkout that’s extremely clean and intuitive. And they can update any page of the site, at any time.
Just when you thought it couldn’t get any cuter around here…
