Gist Brands (the artist formerly known as View Design) is a brand agency that specializes in bringing established brands into a new era. With their own rebrand fresh off the press, Gist looked to Needmore Designs to make a Website worthy of their brand spanking new identity.
Naturally, we were game.
Jason Halstead of Gist Brands has 20 years of experience branding companies and it shows. He has an impressive portfolio and, akin to Needmore, has an obsessive approach towards good design. Which is more than just good design aesthetic—it is about reflecting the core values of a company and making a website accessible to all.
Translating Gist’s passion for perfection onto the new website was key to making the site successful. Needmore’s goal was to engage the public in a way that makes them as excited about the website as we are. And we are pretty excited, people.
We have said it before, we will say it again: we are all about telling people’s story. As such, we wanted to show the evolution that takes place when Gist redesigns a brand. Our approach was to present their portfolio in a straightforward and fun way, letting people see what goes into the rebranding progress.
We are also immensely proud of how the site looks on small screens. The mobile site is sleek, fast and gives the user the full experience in the palm of their hands.
Making sure that the mobile site is as beautiful and easy as the desktop version reflects Gist’s own attention to detail and predilection for quality of work. I hope you love the site, as much as we do!
