Cultivated Gardens
Cultivated Garden’s is a small specialty nursery based in Washington, DC whose topiaries display an architectural formality and restrained elegance that deserve to be mirrored in their online presence. As with most independent businesses, Cultivated Gardens is run by a single, passionately creative individual.
Our role was to create a striking and intuitive online shopping experience for customers and a simple shop for Cultivated Gardens to run. We imagined a website that has the feel of wandering through a clean, sparse nursery. And so, we designed a minimal, spacious website that focuses on stunning images of pristinely presented topiary and garden pots.
While simplicity was a focus for the website, the backend needs to support ordering and delivery of various plants and garden pots. The website, running on Magento, boasts a deceivingly comprehensive e-commerce set-up, including products and pages that are easy-to-update.
