How do I add someone to my mailing list?

Automated Subscription

If you have a subscription form on your website, individuals are able to sign up for your list on their own. They will receive a confirmation e-mail. Once they reply to the e-mail, they are signed up for your list. We highly recommend this option, as your visitors are given a choice on whether or not they wish to receive your mailings.

Manually Subscribing Members

The adding feature is great for instances where you are moving an already existing list to our hosting. Log-in to your mailing list admin section. You will add new members under the tab Membership Management.

To add a new person to your list, scroll to the area labeled Mass Subscribe Users.
Type the e-mail of the individual you would like to add (you can add more than one person, one person on each line). Or, attach a list of addresses.
Click Submit Your Changes.
Each person will be automatically added with the box ?mod? checked. This means they are moderated and cannot post to the list. If you want them to be able to post, uncheck this box.
We do not recommend adding people to the list who do not know that you are adding them. You may not use our servers to SPAM others. If you are not sure if something you are considering is SPAM, talk to us or take a look at our website hosting terms of use.

You might also want to take a look at the official documentation for your mailing list. This documentation shows you how to change each and every piece of your mailing list configuration, from welcome e-mails to spam catching.
