Cynthia Barrett is a local Portland lawyer with years of experience helping special needs families, elders, domestic partnerships, and estate planning. One step into her downtown Portland office and you realize what a thoughtful, empathetic person Cynthia is. We wanted to bring this sense of warmth and expertise to Cynthia’s website redesign.
Our goal was to create a straightforward, information website that captures the relaxed northwest feel of Cynthia and her work. This meant not only clearly defining her practice areas, but also giving her a voice, through her blog, and noting her upcoming lectures.
The website is built with modern standards in mind. It validates at HTML5 and uses many CSS3 enhancements. The site also degrades gracefully - the subtle effects look great in IE6 because they aren’t necessary, they’re just enhancements.
Cynthia’s website is is completely updateable through WordPress, from blog to page text and images, and is hosted through Needmore Designs Little Halo hosting.
