Nice, France
Today we arrive in Nice on the Riviera in the south of France. After a few days exploring rainy Paris, Nice promises bright, warm days on the Riviera. This is a city with a colorful old-town that was ruled by an Italian king until 1850. (Hello, handmade pasta!)
The colorful city is home to the Riviera’s finest flower market. Full of bright colors and relaxed living, it is no wonder that the Riviera was a source of inspiration for the Impressionists. While in Nice, we may be visiting the Matisse and Chagall museums and sampling delightful seasonal produce and handmade pastas, pastries, and chocolate once eaten by Queen Victoria.
