This is a wonderful, wonderful idea. Kind of like discovering an old videocasette of a television show from 30 years ago – and the commercials are the most interesting part! There is something vital about the medium in which the art is presented, and the context that it creates. Sure, you could download them any time you like. But this is so much more exciting. As things around us become more and more digital and ephemeral, will this kind of thing become more common?
